Hello!
My Girlfriend's birthday is next week, and i wanted to make something a little sentimental for her, ontop of the other presents i've already bought her. lol actually she already has my first self portrait that i did a year ago, and it was a really cruddy draft but she loved it all the same, i urged her to take the canvased copy but she refused so yeah hopefully when i give her the final copy of this she'll throw out the other one...or give it to me so i can throw it out

Oh yeah about the artwork: yes it is a pencil drawing of me, its not highly detailed or anything because its just a base for painting, i've seperated the areas to define areas of light and shadow, and when i paint it i plan to use a monochromatic colour scheme. Ahh should be fun, but i've gotta finish it before tuesday next week >.< lol. Hope ya like it!

wow, i never do this much, actually i don't do anything when painting or drawing i just do it without thought or reason or a plan i just let whatever happens, happen ahaha. maybe i should try this sometime? it might make my work better? perhaps.
